DescriptionThe British Psychological Society oral history collections comprising:
AUD/001 J C Kenna Audio Archive - mostly audio recordings, notes and transcripts created and/or collection by J C Kenna the BPS Archivist 1956 to 1976 of eminent psychologists - these phonographs, cassettes and reel to reel recording have been converted to digital format. It was renamed the J C Kenna Audio Archive in 2004.

An ongoing collection of recorded audio interviews with various psychologists made by the British Psychological Society for its Oral History Project, the recordings began in 2005.

The overall aim of the BPS Oral History Project is to create a collection of oral history interviews to extend the John C. Kenna Audio Archive and to complement the collection of documents and visual material housed in the British Psychological Society's history of psychology archives.
