Description | CD sound recording ,transferred from reel-to-reel tape, of the reminiscences of Sir Frederic Charles Bartlett (1886-1969) FRS, University of Cambridge, interviewed by J.C.Kenna, the British Psychological Society's Honorary Archivist on the 3rd of June 1959 at MRC Applied Psychologogy Unit, Chaucer Road, Cambridge.
Also present was Mr G.W.H.Leytham, Lecturer in Psychology, University of Liverpool.
Brief Summary:
Professor Bartlett considers the attributes of 'a good psychologist', tells how he came to study psychology and speaks of E.O.Lewis, Robert R. Rusk, W.H.R.Rivers, James Ward, Michael Foster, C.S.Myers, Pierre Janet, Agostino Gemelli, Johannes Lindworsky, R.S.Woodworth, James McKeen Cattell and speculates on 'the growing points of psychology' today (1959).
