The Clarkes describe their background and Childhood, and how they met.
The interview then deals with their joint work from their PhD days through to the present and covers some of the major episodes in British Psychology in the latter half of the 20th century; including the beginnings of the development of the profession of clinical psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry (IoP) under Hans Eysenck and Monte Shapiro, their own major contribution to the field of learning disability, and the Cyril Burt affair.
