Description | Audio cassette sound recording of an interview with Roger Holdsworth (1935-2011), CPsychol, AFBPsS for the British Psychological Society's Oral History project.

DD asks RH where he was educated
RH speaks of Marlborough College, Kindergarten, prep school in Sussex, how he was educated during the war, specialising in Classics, and how he went on to Christ College Cambridge to take Moral Sciences. RH continues to talk of Cambridge, Professor Zangwill and his transfer to psychology. RH speaks of studying philosophy, Professors Wisden and Braithwaite, his interest in Applied psychology and Richard Gregory.
RH continues to talk of his time at Cambridge, marriage in the second year of his course, Swedish language fluency, his Clinical psychology job in Sweden after graduation and his work on alcoholism in Sweden.
DC recaps RH's time in Sweden before mentioning RH's acceptance at NIIP
RH mentions how he reported to Dick Buzzard at NIIP and speaks of his experiences at NIIP, before speaking of his time as an independent consultant, his directorship at Saville and Holdsworth, the growing international aspect of Saville and Holdsworth, European clients, start-ups and multi-national clients
