A recent study shows that that people are more accurate at identifying liars when relying on their emotional reaction to the lie rather than making a conscious decision.

8 July 2014: PR14 080 Media release Fire setting Bond University. Fire setting 'Fun' for bored adolescent thrill seekers. A major research exercise that investigated fires set by adolescents has shown that one in five participants had lit 10 or more unsanctioned fires.
