19 February 2019 Glasgow event will bring educational psychologists together - release promoting ‘Wellbeing: Crossing borders’, an event jointly organised by the British Psychological Society’s Division of Educational and Child Psychology (DECP) and the Scottish Division of Educational Psychology (SDEP) to promote cooperation between the two bodies;

20 February 2019 Nominations open for Division of Forensic Psychology’s awards - release promoting the opening of nominations for the DFP awards across five categories;

20 February 2019 Building better psychological futures in Northern Ireland - release promoting the BPS Northern Ireland annual conference. Themes of the conference include austerity, equality, chronic conditions, trauma and resilience. Six keynote speakers are: Professor Cherie Armour, Ulster University, Professor Kate Bullen, University of Brighton, Professor Anke Ehlers, University of Oxford, Dr Jo Hart, University of Manchester, Professor Malcolm MacLachlan, Maynooth University and Professor Valerie Morrison, Bangor University;

20 February 2019 BPS applauds spotlight on psychological wellbeing of NHS staff and learners - release promoting BPS support of a report by Health Education England’s highlighting the psychological wellbeing of NHS staff and learners. Report carried out by the NHS Staff and Learners Mental Wellbeing Commission;

21 February 2019 How psychology can make a difference in Brighton and Hove - release promoting a BPS Wessex Branch event in Brighton. Event titled ' ‘How can we use psychology to help with the wicked problems of Brighton and Hove?’ and held at the Jurys Inn, Brighton Station on 2 March 2019. Speakers include Carl Walker from the University of Brighton, speakinp on ‘Doing wellbeing differently: How psychologists have got involved with wicked social problems‘, Simone Button, the chief operating officer of Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, speaking on ‘The impact of public health challenges on the provision of city services’, Stewart Beamont from MoneyAdvicePlus, a local charity offering advice and casework and Richard Pemberton, the BPS Division of Clinical Psychology’s national lead for prevention, public health and social justice and chair of its South East Coast Branch;

26 February 2019 Our free event for postgraduates and early-career researchers - release promoting the BPS 2019 Psychology Research Day, an event bringing together psychology post-graduates and early career researchers to meet, learn about research skills and network. Held at the University of Londons Senate House on 21 March 2019;

27 February 2019 Honouring the work of a pioneer - release celebrating the life of the Educational Psychologist Lucy Fildes and promoting a lecture being held in her honour to celebrate the opening of a building in her name at the Canterbury Christ Church University;

27 February 2019 Join our new sections for free - release promoting four new BPS sections and encouraging members to join. The Political Psychology, Male Psychology, Cyberpsychology and Defence and Security Psychology sections were formed in 2018 following a ballot of the BPS membership.
