03 April 2019 From hope to shock: the psychological impact of Brexit - release promoting a symposium 'Brexit and me: psychological consequences of the UK leaving the European Union’ to take place at the BPS Annual Conference in Harrogate;

03 April 2019 BPS to fund free events for psychology teachers and lecturers - release promoting several events across the UK organised by the Division of Academics, Researchers, and Teachers in Psychology (DART-P). 04 April 2019 Funding for five new counselling psychology research projects - release promoting £50,000 of funding for research projects accross four universities and an NHS trust into the understanding and application of counselling psychology. Funding provided by the BPS Division of Counselling Psychology;

06 April 2019 World Health Day: BPS backs call for psychological treatments to be available to all European citizens - release promoting BPS support for the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations declaration on universal provision of psychological treatments;

08 April 2019 Champions of equality to speak at BPS annual conference - release announcing Professor Kate Pickett and Professor Richard Wilkinson, authors of The Spirit Level, as keynote speakers at the Annual BPS Conference in Harrogate;

09 April 2019 Join an ESRC Grant Assessment Panel - release promoting the Economic and Social Research Council's recruitment for four Grant Assessment Panels which make funding recommendations for research grants;

15 April 2019 Psychologists call for families of neurological patients to get specialist help too - release promoting Katherine Carpenter's, Chair of the Divison of Neuropsychology, letter to the Daily Telegraph calling for care for families of people with neuropsychological conditions;

16 April 2019 Inviting the outsider in - release promoting Professor Zenobia Nadirshaw MBE as a speaker at event 'The outsider: inclusion and exclusion in the therapeutic relationship' at the BPS London office. Event will explore the therapeutic relationship and the barriers that exclude marginalised groups;

24 April 2019 Mental health in schools discussed at Westminster - release promoting a meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Psychology which met with a panel of experts to discuss young people's mental health in schools. Meeting Chaired by Dr Lisa Cameron MP of the Scottish National Party;

26 April 2019 Apply to become a registrant member of the HCPC council - release promoting the Health and Care Professions Council attempts to recruit three registrant council members.
