Description | Correspondence, drafts, mock-up, author permissions, order forms and reports concerning the British Psychological Society BPS Standing Committee on Communication's project to produce a series of laminated exhibition posters about psychology and psychological career sent to meetings, careers fairs and educational institutions both as loans and purchases.
The exhibition comprised eight A3 panels on 'The British Psychologist Society', 'What is Psychology', 'The Educational Psychologist' , 'The Clinical Psychologist', 'The Criminologist and Legal Psychologist', 'The Occupational Psychologist' and two panels 'Psychologists Describe Their Work in a Variety of Related Areas'. Each poster had an overview and then 'A View From The Inside' where a psychologist talked about their careers - these included Sandy Boyle, Kate Evinson, Donald McAllister, Timothy St Ather. Those working in related fields included Helen Muir, Naran Rathod, Lyne Oliver, Wendy Harrington, and Ken Lewis.
Also includes photographs of an exhibition for A Level students at the College of Technology, Belfast held in March 1986 and Welsh Branch exhibition May 1985 and from a display of BPS publications at the Institute of Education c. 1986
