AdminHistoryIt was agreed at a meeting of the British Psychological Society Standing Committee on Communications on 25 June 1990 that a short 'about psychology' video primarily aimed at the 5th/6trh form market was urgently needed. Funding was agreed by the Finance and General Purposes Committee and the project was taken forward by the Information committee who had succeed the Standing Committee on Communications who was for bids for the projects. The submission from World Wide Pictures Ltd was chosen. The video showed a experiences of two students and volunteers were recruited from the Polytechnic of East London and from Leeds University, filming also took place at Cranfield University. The script and voiceover were by Peter Evans of BBC Science. The finished product was launched June 1992.
