1969 BPS Working Party on the Teaching of Psychology in Schools report. The Council noted that an A Level syllabus is in preparation by one Examining Board and it is making strong representation to the Schools Council about the need for qualified psychologists to assist in the preparation of syllabuses [Bulletin of the BPS , 22, (1969), pp.103-108]

1968-1970 The pamphlet 'Privacy under Attack' published by the National Council for Civil Liberties considered by the BPS Test Standards Committee who are tasked to report on the use of tests in industry which affect psychologists in their professional capacity. The response was printed and distributed to all Members of Parliament before a debate on privacy in the House of Commons. Also lobbying to have representation on Kenneth Younger's Committee of Inquiry on Privacy.

1968 Meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Health to consider problems affecting clinical psychologists in the Health Services. The Ministry wished to make use of the Society's advice in assessing courses and qualifications. Discussions were started on the acceptance of the Society's diploma as a qualification for completion of probation in the Health Service. [Coordinating Committee of Senior Psychologists]
