Includes also Professional Affairs Board Statement on Psychological Services for Children December 1977 and a copy of preliminary summary of findings of a BPS Division of Educational and Child Psychology Inquiry into psychological services for children in England and Wales - published in the Bulletin of the British Psychological Society January 1978 pages 11-15, written by a working party comprising B Brown, P Cummings, G Herbert, A Kidd, G Lindsay, M Powell and K Wedell (convenor). The DECP enquiry surveyed 90 groups of c. 10 psychologists working throughout England and Wales discussing demand, developments in patterns of service and implications for training, they also sent out survey forms to individual participants and the preliminary report was based upon the first 410 reports received as well as the discussion leaders reports.
