Description | British Psychological Society Scientific Affairs Board statement on the 'Contribution of Psychology and Psychologists to Initial Teacher Training' (1988) also correspondence and cuttings concerning withdrawal of approval of a B.Ed primary course at the Liverpool Institute for Higher Education in 1987, correspondence on the accreditation of teacher education by CATE [ NCATE National Council for the Accreditation of Teachers later CAEP] ) psychology within the B.Ed Honours degree; proposed and programme of a followup conference to the statement, part funded by the Scientific Affairs Board held in Harrogate 17-19 January 1991 'Promoting Psychology in Initial Teacher Training'. The report was written by a working party of members of the BPS Education Section comprising J Eric Wilkinson, Anne Edwards and Peter Tomlinson. |
