Description | Material relating to a British Psychological Society Parliamentary Group briefing paper Fostering Innovation: A Psychological Approach by Michael West, Clive Fletch and John Toplis, which called for organisation to think about how best to encourage innovative staff and suggested that performance appraisal systems, goal settings and extra work demands can suffocate innovative think. The report was sent to House of Commons Science and Technology Select Committee, Select Committee on Employment, Trade and Industry as well as Party spokespeople. Includes drafts, final, press release, cuttings and arrangements for the launch on 3 March 1994. The briefing was also published in Science in Parliament Vol 51 No 3 June 1994 |
