AdminHistory | In September 1976 the British Psychological Society's Professional Affairs Board set up a working party to consider the implications of the Equal Opportunities Commission and the 1975 Sex Discrimination Act. There was also a separate working party in conjunction with the Runnymede Trust which produced in 1979 'Discriminating Fairly' [BPS/001/12/01/03/01/01 and BPS/001/11/04/02/03/10]. The result of both of these working parties were the creation of the BPS Standing Committee on Equal Opportunities in 1982. |
