Description | British Psychological Society evidence to the House of Commons Social Services Committee on Community Care with special reference to the adult mentally ill and mentally handicapped. Together with cover letter the Chairman of the BPS Standing Press Committee highlighting the view that 'the mere transfer of mentally ill and mentally handicapped people from hospital to community will not by itself significantly improve their quality of life.
