DescriptionCorrespondence concerning British Psychological Society's response to the Secretary of State for Scotland concerning propose General Teaching Council Statutory Instrument 1986 No. 1353 on the Registration of Lecturers in Scottish Colleges of Education and about a subsequent article in BPS Outlook about the Society's response and lobbying concerning the issue.

The regulation change meant that all college lecturers in Scotland including those lecturing in psychology had to hold a teaching qualification and two years teaching experience.
