AdminHistorySubCommittee of the Standing Committee on Communications, agreed in December 1988 and founded in 1989 to
a) Foster Awareness of the importance of external communications in the work of the Society
b) create opportunities for the development of the relevant communication skills;
c) offer advice to subsystems in the attainment of communications objectives
d) provide practical support to sub-systems for the preparations of external communications.

It was chaired by Roy Taylor and members included Ray Bull, Christine Doyle, Richard Williams, Nicky Haynes and Celia Kitzinger.

In 1990 the Standing Committee on Communications was replaced by the Information Committee and it was realised that their was duplication of their aims and those of the group - which was disbanded.
