Description | Correspondence, proposals, budgets, draft and shooting scripts, marketing, meetings and reports of a video based training programme to assist the professional and expert witness in court. The content was written by David Carson and Ray Bull. There were four modules 'Bearing True Witness', 'Presenting Yourself', 'Preparing Your Evidence' and 'Being Cross-Examined'. There was also a self help guide and the project was a joint endeavour of the British Psychological Society BPS and World Wide Group who initially approached the Home Office and Prison Service to fund the project but then decided to fund the project themselves. The package was launched on 26 October 1994 at the Institute of Personnel and Development exhibition in Harrogate.
