AdminHistoryThe British Jourrnal of Educational Psychology although supported by the British Psychological Society was, after negotiations with Training College Association set up as a separate company in 1930 The company ran until 1994 and at a special meeting 10 Nov 1995 BJEP Ltd Directors agreed that the whole of its net assets be transferred to the Society and attached the following conditions:
“That the traditional styles and methods of working of this journal and the authority of its Editor can continue, and the assets transferred to be earmarked so that funds not required by the Journal are reserved for use in educational psychology or education in psychology.” The following year its assets of £260K were transferred to the Brtiish Psychological Society as a restricted fund and the company was formally dissolved in 1997.
