The Editorial Sub-Committee was a SubCommittee of the Standing Committee on Communications until December 1989. It acted as a policy making body on all issues regarding The Psychologist; act as an adviser to the Managing Editor and the Honorary Editors; act as a 'reviewer' of past issues of 'The Psychologist' Chairman of Editorial SubCommittee Mary Boyle 1987, Glynis Breakwell June 1988 - January 1990 Honorary Editors The Bulletin Mary Boyle and Ray Bull1981-1987 Honorary Editors Glynis Breakwell and Graham Davey 1987-92. From this point onwards there was only one Honorary Editor Honorary Editor Hugh Foot 1992-1997
The Psychologist Editorial Committee succeeded the Editorial Sub-Committee and reported to Council. Assistant Editors were responsible for ideas and some copy for features, reviews, art work etc. There was also a team of Associate Editors who were responsible for generating and reviewing academic articles.
