It acted as a policy making body on all issues regarding The Psychologist; act as an adviser to the Managing Editor and the Honorary Editors; act as a 'reviewer' of past issues of 'The Psychologist'
Chairman of Editorial SubCommittee Mary Boyle 1987, Glynis Breakwell June 1988 - January 1990
2. The Psychologist Editorial Committee succeeded the Editorial Sub-Committee and reported to Council. Assistant Editors were responsible for ideas and some copy for features, reviews, art work etc. There was also a team of Associate Editors who were responsible for generating and reviewing academic articles. The differentiation between academic and feature articles was gradually blurred.
