| Description | Nine folders of correspondence, papers, minutes from 1982 and 1983, background documents, agendas and working notes concerning the British Psychological Society (BPS) Standing Committee on Publications/Publications Committee. Business SubCommittee which was founded in 1977 when the BPS began publishing themselves (the function had previously been subcontracted to Cambridge University Press and had primarily related to Journals publishing).
After 1983 there was a restructure of the Standing Committee on Publications with a Journals Committee, Books and Special Projects Committee and General Committee taking over the role of considering the practical elements and proposals of publishing journal, books, reports and other material which had been covered by the Business SubCommittee.
