Description | Meeting papers of the British Psychological Society General Committee on Publications which was set up as part of the reorganisation of the Standing Committee on Publications [BPS/001/12/01] in 1982. This Committee did not really take off and rarely me as the Committees beneath it - the Books and Special Projects Group and the Journals Committee preferred to act automously. In 1988 it was agreed that the General Committee be disbanded and that the Books and Special Projects Group and the Journals Group have the status of standing committees.
