AdminHistory | The Schools Psychology awards was presented by the British Psychological Society for an empiral project in psychology carried out by students in sixth forms or colleges of further education. The winners school or college was given a certificate and books to the value of £1000 for their library to be chosen from a list of psychology texts provided by the British Psychological Society and to each experimenter a certificate and equal share of £100 to be spend on books of their choice. These were awarded at the British Association for the Advancement of Science Annual Meeting after the British Association of YOung Scientists (BAYS) Psychology lecture.
