AdminHistoryOn the 18 May 1990 the British Psychological Society endorsed the implementation of a scheme to set up a Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing, developed by the Steering Committee of on Test Standards in conjunction with the Membership and Qualifications Board. The scheme offered a qualification to psychologists and non-psychologists. In January 1991 existing qualified and experienced users of occupational tests were able to apply for Statements of Competence in Occupational Testing.
