AdminHistoryThe British Psychological Society Diploma in Developmental and Educational Psychology ran between 1976 and 1984 - the examination provided a way of enabling unqualified educational psychologists in post to obtain a recognised qualification by means of in-service training over a three year period. The examination consisted of four written papers, case reports, a practical notebook and a dissertation. Sixty four people applied to take the training of whom fifty one were accepted. Twenty five passed all parts of the examination, two with distinction and twenty five withdrew.
