| Description | Material relating to the organisation of a joint British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) Postgraduate Workshops in Research Methods held at Sheffield University, 31 March to 3 April 1979 and 20-23 April 1980. Includes correspondence, delegate lists, budgets and funding, questionnaires, programmes, drafts, topic lists, bibliographies, notes in 'Attitude Measurement' (Richard Eiser) and feedback analysis
The SSRC via their Psychology Committee commissioned the British Psychological Society to organise post-graduate workshops in research methods for their first year research training students. The event was run by Kevin Connolly. The SSRC later became the ESRC [Economic and Social Science Research Council].
