DescriptionSeries consists of typed/ handwritten correspondence, postcards, agendas, notices, minutes books, printed material and other media concerning the formation and subsequent activities of the British Psychological Society's (BPS) Northern Branch, later North of England Branch, later North West of England Branch.

BPS Northern Branch first meeting 21st October 1933, First President Professor T.H.Pear. Dr.David Esher was the first Secretary and founder of the branch.
