Physical DescriptionBooks are in very poor condition and need to be handled with care.
DescriptionBlue cloth lined book containing handwritten minutes of British Psychological Society Birmingham and Midland Branch meetings from November 8th 1933 to February 22nd 1939.

Included in this book are several press clippings of lectures and papers given by various speakers to the branch taken from the Birmingham Mail and Post 1933-1939 typescript documents including; agendas, reports of the Hon.Secretary and Treasurer, notes, branch rules and nominations for Officers and Committee

Also attached to some pages inside the book are a few loose typescript papers [appear to be abstracts] given at various meetings including:

Father J. Leicester King, 'Mental Association Preservation in the Light of Lindworsky's Theory of Mental Assonance' (1936), and 'Grades of Awareness and the Unconscious' [synopsis] 2nd February 1938
Mrs. E.P. Hunt 'Birmingham Experiments in Vocational Guidance and Selection', 27th March 1936
Dr. Emmanuel Miller 'The Psychological Treatment of Delinquency' 17th October 1934
The back of the book [reversed] contains handwritten details of branch income and expenditure from 1933 to 1939
