AdminHistory | In 1943 a group of psychologists in the Education Service formed themselves into a committee. Later they were joined by clinical psychologists, for whom the National Health Service had brought more opportunities of employment, and an "Adult Section" of the Committee was formed to cater for their special needs. This Committee which had English and Scottish Divisions came to be known as the Committee of Professional Psychologists (Mental Health) continued in existence until 1958 then replaced by the English and Scottish Divisions of Professional Psychologists |
