Description | Council minute book of the Childhood Society 08/12/1904 to 09/11/1908. c.270 pages mostly written in ink with a few pages of printed material tipped in to various pages.
Contents include:
Printed document report entitled 'Teaching Power in Elementary Schools' (Page.6), Printed Document regarding the calling of a special meeting to consider amalgamation with th B.C.S.A. dated 01/12/1904 (Page. 6), Financial reports, Printed document list of the Officer's balloting List 1905, (Page.25), Printed Document detailing proposed amalgamation (Page.80), Printed Document from the B.C.S.A.concerning the amalgamation name and rules (Page.100), Handwritten correspondence from Mary Louch of the B.C.S.A.London Branch undated (Page.100), Printed document report upon the the proposals submitted by the B.C.S.A.London Branch (Page.106), Printed notices of general meetings 1907( Pages.113 and 120), Printed minute items regarding the amalgamation, (Pages. 121 and 122). Also included is a printed pamphlet of the Childhood Society entitled, 'Objects of the Society'. |
