Description | Report titled 'D.S.P. Follow-Up. Appendix IV. Effects of Civil Occupation Among Signallers.' (no. 106) by Philip E. Vernon. The report investigates the impact of civilian occupation on proficiency grades among signallers. The civilian occupations are grouped together based on common characteristics, and for each the proficiency scores are analysed. The report concludes that groups of most unskilled men can be rejected from Signals units by recruiters, as they do not perform well in general, however, it is also noted that a similar result would be achieved if the individuals were rejected based on failing to meet minimum test treshold. |
