DescriptionReport titled 'D.S.P. Follow-Up: Appendix II. Effects of Driving Experience.' (no. 100) by Philip E. Vernon.
The report investigates the impact of driving experience on course outcomes of drivers. It has found little significant impact, with the differences between experienced and inexperienced drivers to be small by the end of the training. Correlations have also been made between degree of experience and results of SP tests. Based on these, minimum test standars have been set for entry test results.
