This research report is related to an experiment taking place in an effort to assess the usefulness of using film in naval training. After a brief introfuction, the design of the experiment is set out, with details related to the procedure and sample. The report is subblemented by an appendix containing statistical and technical notes, as well as containing a template of the examination used to assess the trainee's course proficiency.
