Description | Report titled 'An Analysis of the Abilities of Women in the A.T.S.' (no. 65) by Philip E. Vernon. A number of women were selected from 5 training centres, in an effort to build a sample uniform to the current Matrix and Education distributions. The sample distributions on SP Tests are presented in a data table, alongside the age distribution, medical category and educational standard. These were then compared with present norms ,and each test of ability was the intercorrelated. To provide more detailed results, a number of different factor analyses was conducted and presented in data tables. The report concludes that the tests used for men may not be applicable for women. Recommendations are made for which tests are best used in female samples. |
