DescriptionReport titled 'A Rough Factor Analysis of D.S.P. Tests Applied to Clerks.' (no. 60) by Philip E. Vernon.
The report first explains that due to the high number of tests of ability used in attempting to predict future performance, arriving at a logical pattern is difficult. As such, obtaining an estimate g-saturation seems favourable. With a stable g, the remaining tests were factorised separately. The data table for this process is provided. The report finalises with a number of conclusions about the tests, of which some seem to yield little prospects of new discoveries. The educational tests appear dependent on the level of education of the sample, whereas clerical tests are more dependent on g.
