DescriptionReport titled 'Follow-up of Instrument Mechanics.' (no. 133) by Philip E. Vernon.
The report follows the performance of intrument mechanics selected from groups of TR2's and Tradesmen. The latter group performed significantly better on SP Tests, but the TR2's were found generally more successful in the course. Correlations with various SP tests were then further analysed, as well as with previous civilian occupation. Although occupation did not yield any conclusive results, technical education seems to be predictive of training success. The report is supplemented with a summary.
