DescriptionReport titled 'Follow-up of Ordnance Mechanics.' (no. 128) by Philip E. Vernon.
The report outlines the grades scored by trainees in the Mechanics Trade Test and Gunnery tests. Additionally, results of SP Tests for the cohort are also collected. The scores of the two tests are correlated with the SP Test outcomes, and the findings are included in a data table. The report then expands on the findings, indicating which types of SP Tests are most useful in predicting the pass-fail rates for trainees. The trainees' prior civilian occupation is also correlated for impact on test scores.
