DescriptionReport titled 'Amalgamated SP Test Results for 3000 Non-Substantive Gunnery Rates (Revised Draft).' (no. 127c) by Philip E. Vernon.
The report describes the various types of trainees for the Gunnery course, including those entering from various entry establishments, as well as those that have been recommended by other army units. A data table is included showcasing the results of each group on three different courses. In order to achieve reliable correlations across this varied dataset, the report considers various types of grouping. Firstly, it considers only the individuals that have completed the same three types of courses. Secondly, it looks at the H.M.S. Excellent group separately, based on their intelligence levels. Finally, the report looks at trainees who have passed or failed the course separately.
