DescriptionReport titled 'The Conversion of Navy, Army and Air Forge Test Levels.' (no. 122) by Philip E. Vernon.
The report is concerned with comparing the different scales of scores on Matrix tests across Navy recruits and Army recruits. As the former uses an A-E scale and the latter a 1-5 scale, the investigation aims to to assess which grades are most comparable to create a unified scale. The same has been done for R.A.F. Tests, which are different to those used in the Navy or the Army, but the results are still deemed comparable.
