DescriptionReport titled 'The Prediction of 'Bests' and 'Worsts' Among O.S. and Stokers.' (no. 108) by Philip E. Vernon.
The report aims to assess the predictability of best and worst scores from SP Tests. The data tabulated includes classifications of men included in the report, SP Test scores, age and occupation, as well as education of the men, and a number of interests they possess. For each of these points correlations were made between SP Test scores and their results. A combined outline of the findings is presented at the end of the report. Conclusions for selection are made, with recommendations pertaining to maximising the recruitment of individuals likely to perform well.
