Advanced Progressive Matrices assesses the mental ability of above average intellectual ability by means of nonverbal abstract reasoning tasks. Used for school and vocational counselling as well as research.
Standard Progressive Matrices measures an individual's mental ability through abstract reasoning tasks. Used for school and vocational counselling and placement. Comprises a 60 item paper-pencil nonverbal test in five sets of 12 problems each. The test is often used with the Mill Hill Vocabulary scale.
Crichton Vocabular Scale. The vocabulary test covers the same range of intellectual development and provides an index for general cultural attainments.
