Henri Bergson (20 January 1911) French - thanks for articles on instincts and intellegence, work of H Wildon Carr
Karl Pearson (20 December 1902) - looking forward to Myers paper on Nagada skulls, unable to attend meeting at Anthropological Institute as too busy, difficulties of finding anthropologists who are willing to bring their mathematical skills to the level necessary to do biometiric work " although one can turn out a new school of workers, one cannot hope to persuade the older men to go to school again'. Criticises German research "The extraordinary futility of much of the craniometric work now published is what strikes a biometrician most. The Germans in particular .... draw absolutely illegitimate conclusions as to racial and group distinctions without the least idea of a science of statistics involves.'
