Professor Knight wrote a short history of the BPS entitled 'The Society since 1941' to commemorate the founding of the Society on 24th October 1901 which was published as a supplement to the Bulletin of the BPS, pp.22-30, October 1961.

Obituary published in The Times, March 1963.
