Cecily de Monchaux (1922-1977 ) Deputy General Secretary of the BPS 1952-1955; Editor of the Bulletin of the British Psychological Society 1954-1956; brought up in Australia and worked Sydney Teachers College 1944-1945 and was lecturer University of Western Australia and then University University of Melbourne before moving to London to work at University College London and then to New York[
Ivy Bennett (1919-2011 ), later Ivy Gwynne-Thomas brought up in Australia Masters in Clinical Psychology at University of Western Australia - 1942 lectured to airforce recruits at the University of Western Australia. 1946 moved to London doctorate at the University of London in 1951 'Neurotic and Delinquent Children' and worked at the Anna Freud Clinic. Also completed training at the British Institute of Psychoanalysis and returned to Perth to private practice in 1953, returning to England in 1958 and then in the 1960s emigrating to America |
