DescriptionFile consists of 2-green and 5- make-shift folders containing handwritten and typed paperwork concerning expenses,receipts, tape recorders and general correspondence.

The folders are marked in ink as follows:

Green folder-marked 'J.C.R. Receipts' containing various handwritten and typed expense receipts 1955-1960.

Green folder -marked 'Marriage Guidance' containing a printed document from the Glasgow Marriage Guidance Council, a copy of the proposed constitution of the Dumfries and Galloway Marriage Guidance Association, and a press clipping of an newspaper article entitled 'Marriage Guidance' 1954.

folder-marked 'Crichton Royal-General' containing typed general correspondence between Raven and the Crichton Hospital, press clipping, memorandums, plans, and typed documents relating to the planned removal from Johnson House to Crichton Hall, 2nd Nov.1943 to 14th Dec.1961.

folder-marked 'Books etc.. Loaned' containing 3-pages of typed and handwritten correspondence from and to Miss Wilma McNab, Glasgow and Catherine, 8th June 1955 - 16th June 1955.

folder-marked ' Research Assistance A/C, A/C closed Nov.1953 'containing an envelope marked 'Bank Book, Old Cheques, Cheque Stubs', and old cheque book stub 18th July 1952 to 13th Nov.1953,a pack marked 'Receipts' containing various receipts 13 Oct.49-18 Nov.53,typed copies of Consultation fees due addressed to G.P.O., Edinburgh 1949-1958, a handwritten expense paper 16/17th July 1952 and a handwritten Statement of Account 1949-1952.

folder marked- 'Sleeper Reservations- Hotels etc..' containing correspondence with hotels in Dumfries and London, printed hotel and railway cards, price lists, reservations and bills, Dec.1946-17, Jan.1961.

folder marked- 'Tape Recorders' containing colour leaflets and a manual of various types of reel- to- reel tape recorders
