AdminHistoryFounded in 1979 as a non-profit cooperative, calling itself "Cooperative Development of the Child, SCRL", the institute took its current name "Piaget Institute - Cooperative for Human Development, and Integral Ecological, CRL.' and implemented various projects of educational and social nature.

The Piaget Institute covers a variety of areas ranging from education to research, through the social action and the implementation of development projects, both in Portugal and in countries of the CPLP and, by the publishing of books.
