Description | The file contains 13-handwritten notebooks relating to matters, thoughts, ideas on Psychology. Included is a set of five notebooks numbered D1 to D1157 which are concerned with a Child Study case.
Notebook marked 'Ds 1 to 112 up to 053 3/4' Value of Study of Infant Psych' contains results of studying a child's progress from a baby, there are a couple of printed/typed documents tipped in on a few pages, Book I
Notebook marked 'D113 to D254 053 3/4 to 058', Book II signed by Valentine containing a continuation of the Child study from book I. An apparent listing of the notebook is inserted inside the front cover
Notebook marked 'D256 to D586, 058 to 137' Book III continues the child study from book II. a handwritten document in French and English is inserted inside the back page
Notebook marked ' D587 to D790, 157 to 252' presume Book IV, continues the Child study from the previous books
Notebook marked D783-D1157, 2513/4-352' Book V continues the Child study from the previous books, a loose handwritten document is inserted inside the front page
1- Ribbed cover Notebook contains an inside page signed and entitled by C.W.Valentine 'Outlines of Various books on Political Economy' with a couple of printed documents tipped in inside the back page
1-Maroon cloth covered notebook is untitled but the pages are numbered in ink up to 31 with subjects ranging from Transcendental Rational Theology to Mechanism, after the numbered pages there are two pages in French addressed to La Societe Francaise with a piece of blotting paper
1-purple cloth notebook contains handwritten notes which are alphabetically indexed on the inside front page from Anger to Test, a couple of pages of handwritten notes are tipped in to a few pages
1- Black calf book signed as C.W.Valentine, Crosshills, Aug. 1898 and entitled 'Notebook, Texts, Anecdotes, Illustrations, Quotations, etc..
1-Black book signed in ink by C.W.Valentine and indexed from Seth 'The New Psychology'to Sully, 'Studies in Psychology'.336 The inside back page is also signed and dated March 1904 by Valentine, this book is extremely loose.
1- Black slim notebook which appears to be a handwritten diary of Hazel ? numbered from 2511 to 72
1-Black book signed in ink by Chas. W.Valentine , Oct. 1900 'Outlines of a Manual of Psychology by G.F.Stout'
1-Plastic pocket folder entitled 'German Lecture'with a handwritten page entitled' Impression of German Education' |
